But you use it at your own discretion, I will not be liable for any injuries or death because you didn't use common sense <img src="https://smartcarofamerica.com/forums/images/SmartCarOfAmerica/smilies/tango_face_smile.png" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg" />
Any chance I could get the .stl for for it, or whatever you used? Believe a friend of mine has a 3d printer.

I would not use that on a gas version. But, maybe an EV or EQ?

I use mine most days in my 1ltr 84hp turbo. No fumes into the cabin at all, just clean fresh air.

I ended up making my own for about $2. Used a carabiner clip from Dollar Tree, a bolt, two giant washers, and a wingnut.

My smart isn't tuned the best and I can definitely smell fumes in the cabin when sitting idle. It's not any worse than any of my two stroke motorcycles though, so I'm not bothered.

Sure thing! I don't have a picture of mine, but here's the one from the guy (Evan P) that I copied. Works perfect in the 450 and 451. Haven't tested the 453 yet but I see no reason it wouldn't work there, too. Want a bigger vent? Just use a bigger carabiner clip. I went with a set of bigger washers than him because I wanted more surface area to grip onto the latch.

Just an update... Had a friend of mine print up a window prop for my 453 (different from the one shown here), and with my muffler removed, it sounds pretty nice. I was thinking, when the engine is under load, or at a lower rpm in a higher gear, it sounds like a mix between a diesel truck and a spitfire plane engine.

Or.... As that same friend annoyingly pointed out this past weekend... the V1 rocket from Battlefield 5
