OEM battery...

How many still have the original battery in their Smart?

My 2009, bought June 2010, is still going...

Shouldn't hex Max but he still has his original battery as well. Max is a 08 Carbio that I picked up in Boston in April of 08. Since he doesn't have the auto lights wipers, etc package he never got the battery update from Smart back in 08-09.

In fact besides one rear tail light bulb he still has all the original bulbs as well. Currently sitting at 57k. And yes I live in FL now but I still use the turn signals

I'm still on OE battery, too. My pure smartbiru is a 12/07 build, bought 2/2/08, and has close to 95K miles now.

FWIW. the one in my early '08 was working just fine when I preemptively changed it last week.

I changed mine at 4 years 3 months as a precaution. There were no issues, but I like to be on the safe side.

My June 2008 still has its OEM battery. It has been abused something awful because all three computers can't figure out how to shut off the interior light left in the wrong switch position or shut off the parking lights BEFORE running the battery completely dead. Why can't 3 computers do that? Stupid? I've run the battery into deep dead cycle about 5 times since 2008. It seems to recover just fine, even having set for a day really DEAD....

I change the batts in all my vehicles every 2-3 years.

(Bikes maybe every 3-4 since they are disconnected and trickled in the winter?)

On my 3rd Batt in my smart

Go ahead, blame the car. Sounds like operator error to me...
