Radio volume lowers when windows go down??

For some reason, the volume on the radio lowers, and gets distorted when you roll the windows down.... when windows go up, volume increases and sounds clear.
Stock 2013 standard/base radio (no CD/NAV).

Is there some way to correct this?

My other vehicles, the radio volume increases slightly when windows are down...

That's caused by changes in air pressure overwhelming the poor cheap speakers. Outside of getting better speakers or not opening the car up, there isn't a way to fix it.

Does it do it with the car standing still? If not, the above post is the answer.

BTW, the smart base radios don't have a speed related volume adjustment feature.
