I guess without a Turbo, a boost gauge might be handy if one should run into a hi atmosphere pressure bubble and boost could just happen.

Cool

Sweet! I did this for a customer back in 2008, the AEM boost gauge in the factory clock pod. Didn't have the newer one that you have now hehe.. but yea with the bezel it fits perfectly, and since his was black it blended in just nicely. Great job!

What did you use to paint that compressor side of the turbo?

Larry

@Larry

Hi Larry,

Used aluminum anodized finish red high heat paint a few coats. Duplicolor I believe...
Then high heat 2000 degree black and added ceramic powder on top and then a few more coats of each.
Then added the blanket.

Thanks for the kind words!
I'd love to pick your brains if there is anyway I can contact you I'd love to talk about this turbo stuff you've done. As you can see I've gone turbo and what a steep learning curve! Ahhhh

The Piggy box is a pain!!!
I ended up using my stock Map sensor for when not in boost and set a .4 pressure switch to switch over to using the Piggy back for the 2bar sensor and for fueling and timing
when I get into boost.
I placed a capacitor to keep the Ecu happy and not notice the switch from 1bar to 2bar. Works perfect!!!

16v 1000uf cap used.

I'm friends with you in Facebook or At least subscribed I think.
We can talk there.

Thank you!!! Look forward to talking with you!!!
P.S. My father is the local Ferrari/ Lambo mechanic so have any questions :0
