Auto lock of passenger door

I drive into my garage, turn my key off, all is well.

An hour or two later, I come back to get my phone, wallet, or whatever and the passenger door is locked. I gotta walk around to the other side, reach in and hit the lock button on the instrument panel.

How can I fix things so that when I turn the car off and get out, the passenger door does not lock?

Do you unlock all the doors when you park in the garage or do you just exit through the driver door

The only way to do what you want is to turn off the "auto lock" function. You can always manually unlock the doors using the button bank switch as you exit the car.....

I have a 2008 Passion and the passenger door does not un-lock automatically. The same holds true with the rear lift gate and the fuel door. I press the un-lock button on the dash to un-lock everything or use the un-lock button on the key fob. It is a habit with me to press the un-lock button on the dash because I leave the key in the ignition while parked in my garage.

I bust right out of the car. I forget to hit the button on the dash. I don't want 'em to lock ever, as I never lock convertibles cuz nothing in the car is worth more than the fabric top.
