How Do I Put Back On My Speedo Unit?

I took the Speedo Unit off of my 2013 Smart Fortwo yesterday, so I could disconnect my tach clock pods from the dashboard. Following directions online, I put some force into it and just pulled it straight forward towards my steering wheel and it came off.

I went to go put it back on after, and I'm having some trouble. Does anyone have any techniques for this? I don't want to break any clips. Maybe I'm not lining it up right? Should I align it from the middle clips first? Whats the best plan of action?

Thanks!

Have you looked at the Evilution site? It gets lots of positive comments and there are several links to the job you're doing.

Yeah I already looked through there. I could only find how to take it off, not how to put it back on easily.

Installation is exact reverse of removal. Just line up the clips and give it a firm push forward. Always worked for me.
