Key fob battery replacement

My key fob battery is dying, what with the drawn out process to get a duplicate key made, I'm wondering how difficult it will be to replace the batter.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your wisdom and input.

Very easy. See your owner's manual for directions. From memory I believe the battery required is a CR2016 button battery that you can acquire at auto parts stores, supermarkets, & many other places. Use a coin to pry open the key fob, remove the old battery checking for polarity (+ or -), remove it, replace with a new battery, then clip the cover back on the fob and you are good to go. If you are still not sure, most counterpersons at an auto parts store will install the battery for you.

I have bought the batteries in the key department of my local Wal Mart. They were about $4.00 each if remember correctly. One battery per fob.

Takes longer to get the key off the ring than to replace the battery. I use a quarter to pry it open, works good.
