Price for used wheels with tires

Hey all. There are two people near me that are selling complete sets of wheels/tires. I don't know what year they are but appear to be the correct sizes that came stock. One of the sets has a B logo in the center. Is that the Brabus wheels?

Anyway, they are asking $100 for one set and $300 for the set with a B on the center cap.

I was thinking about picking up one of them to use for winter tires. Are these prices good? I think $25 per wheel is pretty good for stock sizes.

That's actually pretty amazing, I'd buy both if they were near me. The brabus ones usually run quite a bit more.

Those are good prices to me. Best thing is that they are local so you can give them a good look over before paying.

Maybe you can identify them using these pics:

The 'B' could just be the centercap...

The other 3 bolt wheels which only the fronts will fit on a 451 are from the 450, not released in the USA:

May be a good deal, any bend in them would be $100+ per wheel to straighten though.

Are the Brabus wheels staggered sizes? 15" and 17" Remember, there were optional 15" Brabus wheels available as a $550.00 option a few years ago on the 451. They were 4.5" and 5.5" widths and had a raised lip on the outer edge. The factory standard Brabus wheels had no raised lip and the rim was smooth to the edge.

Here's a picture of the ones I think are Brabus wheels.

I also found a listing for a full set of wheels with winter tires mounted. Those are a couple hours drive from me though. They're asking 400 for that set. I'm inclined to make an offer on these since they have winter tires on already.

I'd jump on that $100 set. Can't see the mounted tires--if those are Blizzaks, there were VM1 and VM2 Blizzaks. The VM1s (in addition to being older tires in general) lose their super-winter-adhesion when the tire is at 50% of original tread depth. I love Blizzaks but stick to the newer generation.

Well, the ones I thought were Brabus have been removed and sold. Guess I missed on that one. The one tire size that was shown was 175R55/15.

Well, for $100 for a full set of wheels, I really don't think I can go wrong. As long as they are straight, I can deal with curb rash or peeling. I would only want them to mount winter tires on anyway. Smart Madness is asking almost $100 for the basic steel wheels so this is a real bargain in my mind.

Still have the option of the ones with Winter tires mounted already but its a bit of a drive away. The listing says they are ice guard tires and like new. I'm guessing these are Yokohama? I don't know anything about that tire company but they are highly rated on all the websites I can find them on. The guy is asking $400 for the set and I think that is a bit high. Tire Rack has the tires listed at $55.53 a piece for closeout price. Throw in shipping and having to get them mounted and it would probably be around $300 for new tires.

If you don't take the stock wheels, I will. I can also drive over to pick them up.
I need one set of stock wheels for my 451.
I'll get them one by one if needed. At the very least I would need two of the larger sized wheels.
I am 3 hours from Northview.
