smart car in Top Ten of "Rich List" for 2007

I saw this mentioned on Google months ago, but couldn't find the source until this week. A British insurance company does an annual Top Ten list of vehicles owned by their highest income clients. The 2007 listing includes the smart car for the first time, actually in the number 9 position. Smart also appears in McKeel Hagerty's list of Top Ten Cars and Trucks Most Likely to be Collector Vehicles. We've got both lists posted on our website now, but here's the Rich List for 2007.

SWIFTCOVER'S
2007 RICH CAR LIST

“...smaller and greener cars are becoming popular with higher income earners...”
--Craig Staniland

1. Porsche
2. Jaguar
3. Mercedes
4. Lexus
5. Saab
6. Audi
7. Jeep
8. BMW
9. Smart
10. Alpha Romeo

I feel so special! Now my Smart and Alfa Romeo will be able to have a conversation in the garage with each other.

Yamaha riders only wave to all other motorcycle riders.

I'll let you know in February. I'm working on a film award show (Spirit Awards) on the beach in Santa Monica. Hopefully I'll have the smart by then and will be showing it off!

What the He** am I supposed to do. I own and ride:
'98 Harley Road King
'04 Yamaha FJR1300
'76 Honda GL1000 w/Vetter Terraplane Sidecar
I'm not old enough (only 60) for a BMW

Boy I hate stereotypes.
