I have a 2016 smart with the 453 engine. Seems to require a very skinny 5/8 spark plug socket to change the plugs. Maximum width of the plug well appears to be about .82 of an inch, maybe a hair larger. Does anyone have a line on where to find a skinny socket that works?
Sorry to bump an old post. did you find a tool/solution? I have 5/8 plugs, but cant fit a socket into the well to remove the old ones. I am not even sure if I have the correct plugs in the first place.
can you share your solution or a part number for what got your through the plug change?
