That was a 'Special Edition', with Brabus leather and Metallic Dark Brown special paint, Brabus wheels, etc. I sold two, they were in the $21k-$22k range new (USD).

If you open the Advanced post (Go Advanced) and select Manage Attachments, scroll down in the window and it will show the maximum file size for each extension. Make sure the picture size is within that size or it won't load. select the Choose file button and locate the file you want to upload from your computer. then press the Upload button. Once it loads, you will see the file name above where the Manage attachments is.

Then you have to select the file and drag it onto the box where you have typed your post.

Or you can open the picture from the uploaded file in a new tab, copy the address and use the Picture Icon above the text box and paste the address in the box that opens.

It will insert the picture where your cursor is located in the message box.

Clear as mud right??

MPG factors.................

My 2013 passion averages 36/37MPG running 91/93 octane winter blend gasoline. Summer blend averages 40/42 MPG. Cold
weather will decrease MPG. Using cheap mid-range gas will decreaseMPG. High percentage of ethonal in gas will decrease MPG.
I live in western NC mountains,so everything is up hill/down hill. And I drive the little car, like I just stole it!!.................

I own 5 vehicles. I Use Mobil 1 synthetic, in all of them. Japanese, Korean, German, and Italian cars. Nothing wrong with that brand of oil. Smart recommends it. Been using it in the smart car for 11 years now.

Denso spark plug are fine. Have fun replacing them.

Our Honda Fit, and Fiat 500, achieve just the same, sometimes better fuel economy. Then the smart car. The Honda Fit highway miles, will get up to 40 mpg, On regular gas. The 500, I’ve seen 38 mpg. 91 octane.

I have not been able to locate ceramic brake pads for my 453, searched the i-net for several hours last week. No luck. Willing to share where you purchased them? Sick of the dust from the OEM pads!

I bought mine from Auto Zone, 5 years ago. New rotors too. My car, is a 451. Not a 453.

Rock Auto, carries a couple brands, for the 451.

I am not sure what $2,000.00 CDN equates to in US dollars, but it sounds to me like you got a very good deal. That is a very rare model in the US. I have only seen one in person. It should clean up very well and be a fine car for years to come. Good luck with your new smartie!!
