Which tire goes on the right, which on the left?

OMGosh! I'm just now replacing my snow tires with the regular tires and I forgot to mark which one went on the right and which one went on the left! They're new tires. Probably only 1500 miles on them. Does it matter which goes where? Holding them side by side as they would be on the car the tread looks the same. I would appreciate any advice!

..if they are unidirectional they will have an arrow on the side wall showing which way they go...if not...doesn't matter

Look for a rotation arrow moulded into the sidewall. If present, the tires are directional and have to be installed so that the rotation arrow points in the normal forward direction of rotation. If there is no rotation arrow, it doesn't matter.

The tread pattern on what you have there, does not look like a directional pattern, so there is probably no arrow.

The days of radial tires taking a "set" to the originally-installed direction of rotation, are long gone.

The taller and wider wheels and tires go on the rear. Look at the side of the tires and there will be an arrow or > mark which will indicate forward direction if they are directional tires. Otherwise the direction or side of the car doesn't matter except for rotating them. The tread looks like the Conti's and I don't think it matters with them. Someone with more tire knowledge than me can correct me if I am wrong.
edit...during the time it took for me to look at the sidewall on my Conti tire, Jetfuel and GoFaster posted.

You guys are AWESOME!!! Thank you so much.

I checked the sidewalls. No arrows! Whew!

The snows are stowed until next winter! The tread still looks good.
