Smart car City Pulse 61 Semi-Auto would not start after someone stole parts

my smart cal will not start someone stole something near the engine at the bottom right hand side after the oil checker there is a plug that needs to plug in to something but that thing is missing can someone please tell me what it mite be

smart car 2003 someone stole apart help please

someone stole a part near the engine at the bottom right hand side near the engine oil filter there is a plug that needs to go into something..... the car will not switch on since they took that part

Isn't that about where the crank position sensor lives? That would certainly stop things dead. It is easy to remove, and replace.

The oil pressure switch is near the oil filter. If it is disconnected it will still run.

That part on the right side was the air pump that puts air in the engine at start up to make the converter light up faster. That wont keep the engine from running. The key in your dash is the immobilizer being active, that will keep it from starting. Try a different key FOB. If you still have the problem, the keys will have to be reprogrammed or the FOBs are not communicating with the car.
