Trunk won't open - 2006 ForTwo Cabrio

Last night I was bringing some boxes over to a friend's place. Threw them in the trunk no problem. I went to open the trunk today, and the latch makes the noise like it's opening as usual but the trunk stays locked.

I've played around with the rear roof latches, locked and unlocked the car 100 times, and pushed and pulled the rear boot as much as I could but it just isn't working.

Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Any ideas?

Give it a big steady high-torque twist, it will turn unless you injected it with Krazy Glue.

Smart fortwo 2013 trunk not opening

Hello everyone, I am trying to open my smart fortwo cabrio 2013 trunk but sadly it won't. I can hear the normal electric sound when I fress and pull the "open-trunk" button and I can tell that both lateral locks are opening but not the center one, please help, anyone knows how to fix this?

Cheers
Tom
