Lift Kit / Bed Extender

Where is that lift kit from s-mann already?

And I'm ready for an aftermarket bed extender for longer tailgate-open loads:

I recall seeing an extension for the back end, I believe it was for the 450, They may have them for the 451's.

well.... probably won't see a cage-system thing like you find on pickups.... mostly because i'm fairly certain the Smart tailgate can't hold nearly as much weight as a truck tailgate, and i get the feeling with the tail the Smart has.... you'd be risking a lot of exhaust fumes coming straight in the back of the car. That is maybe unless you also drive with your windows open, but that could also leave the lift glass in a bit of a rough situation, too.
