Would there be a motel, we might stay in and drive up the
day before?

There are several national chain hotels in Auburn. All are right off of I-69. My recommendation would be the Hampton Inn, it's the newest Hotel, only been open a couple of years. All are very close together, and near several restaurants.

Checking Hotels.com, it's only $79 a night at that time. Don't try and book during the ACD festival, it's probably triple that!!!

OK, here are the details:

We are going to the ACD Museum first. They open at 10 am. I have reservations at Mad Anthony's for 12:30pm, hopefully that gives us enough time to get through the museum.

Group rate for ACD is $8 per person.

After lunch, we will go to the National WWII Victory Museum & Kruse Automotive Museum. Group rate is $7 ea, WWII vets are free, and all other Vets are $4. Museum closes at 5, so that should give us 3 hours + to tour that museum.

Please RSVP for the event, both have a 12 person minimum to get the group rate. Hopefully we have a lot more.

I need to let Mad Anthony's know by March 21st how many folks we will have for lunch.

Don't miss this event! Both Museums are well worth the drive to see.

OK, how about the Packard Museum and the not to be missed National Museum of the United States Air Force? Of course, those would require a side trip to the Dayton area, an easy drive from Columbus. And as a bonus, you'd go by the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green on your drive up and back.

We are meeting at the ACD Museum. Directions can be found here: Directions

If you are coming from the South, take the County Road 11-A exit. Turn right onto CR 11-A, then left when it T's into Wayne Street. The Museum will be on the right after you go through the first stop light. Much easier than going up to the SR-8 exit.
The Military museum is at the CR 11-A exit as well, and Mad Anthony's is about a mile North of the ACD Museum.

I sent an e-mail to all smarties about this, but a bunch of them bounced. Not sure what happened? I'll re-send tonight. If you didn't get the email, and you're on my list, be patient, I'll get it to you.

OK, I just realized I didn't include the links here that I put in my email. So here are the web sites for the places we are going for those interested:

ACD Museum: Directions

Mad Anthony's: Mad Anthony Brewing Company

National Military History Museum: National Military History Center | Welcome to the National Military History Center

Each of them give direction, but like I said, they are all within a mile of each other.
