CRS Oakville Lock it from inside with child lock. But if you key doesn't work don't do that otherwise you will not be able to get in.

It is what it is and you got your answer in less than 15 minutes?

Miserable design and odd functionality but great members and priceless information!

Oh, and WELCOME TO SCoA.

Zinphad Thanks for the reply. I am now able to lock it without using the fob. Don't know why that didn't come up on my search the other night.

orngandblack I think you can sit in it with the door open and push the lock button, get out and close the.
And close the door.

My automated systems controlled from the FOB stopped working last night (for both my primary and secondary key), and since my car does not allow the car to be locked manually, I had to leave it unlocked last night. Walked out this morning and the door was open and my car riffled through (fortunately the most valuable thing in there was a pair of sunglasses).

Dealer can't see me til Friday. Anyone know of a trick to lock the car without the FOB (the key will unlock the car manually fine).
