|ElementalDragon||Not to be "that guy".... but a bluetooth OBDII reader from eBay and the Torque app for Android/iOS (least i think it's on iOS, too....) does pretty much anything that can do, and won't cost you anywhere NEAR $80-100.|

Garmin has a plug in to use with their Nuvi gps and it does quite a bit of things. It has a full set of guages that monitor a array of functions.
Access real-time performance data for your vehicle
View live gauges for RPM, speed, intake manifold pressure, coolant temperature, timing advance, throttle position and more
Measure your vehicle's 0–30, 0–60, 1/8-mile and 1/4-mile times
Calculate your vehicle's horsepower and torque
Measure lateral acceleration with the Skidpad
Calculate your instant and average fuel economy over multiple trips
Record live OBD data, and export it for analysis
Track and collect data on multiple vehicles
Diagnose and reset your check engine light
Check your vehicle's self-test status for emissions certification
I bought one and it is basically plug and play and also has a android phone app with all the readouts through Bluetooth with the Gps itself.

|MinnySmart||Garmin has something similar that turns a Garmin Nuvi into a Prius-C like screen with economy and driving score. Temping. I've already got the scan guage.... but might end up getting the other one as well. We'll see....|

|smark||I got that free, with my 500. Played with it once, that was enough. Goes thought a flash card, then down loadthe info to your computer. Plugs into the USB slot of the vehicle.|

|Stretchmobile||"One of the main things that the Automatic app does is to identify driving habits that cause excessive fuel use. These include rough braking, speeding, and rapid acceleration." That would be all the time for me. Never mind, I can't stand the upshift arrow on the dash now. Don't need something else yelling at me about how I drive. My wife does just fine at that.|

Automatic wants to make you a smarter driver
GIZMAG. Will it make a Smart car driver even smarter? I think it is neat one can access the information using ones iOS or Android phone.
