Smart Bob Beverly Hills Mercedes dropped smart but will still service smart cars. Vinnie, who was the smart Brand manager terminated his employment at BH, when new owner's acquired the dealership. Vinnie is also deceased.

JDoggery Right, wow. So, curious is this a new standalone or part of another brand? There are less and less around these days for sure.

And if smartUSA wants other M-B dealers to pick up the smart brand - this will likely be the only viable business model going forward?

JPaul Well, about Tampa's, both statements are correct in some way: the separate dealership is closed but MB's showroom has a little section at one end... I had my smart serviced there earlier this year.

May want to check your sources? Lights are still on in Tampa with 11 NEW 2015 smarts and 1 NEW 2014 in inventory?

smart center Tampa - New smart in Tampa for sale

Hard to check out "another one" that may or may not be closing?

If your sources are correct, that's pretty bad. I suspect that's not really the case. According to smartusa, Tampa is still there. Clearwater and Sarasota are also there. I just bought a fuel pump from Orlando two weeks ago.

Nothing personal, but I hope you're wrong!
