jefferios Since 2011 I build a full fledged HTPC which can record the free OTA signals for later viewing. I still have Kylo installed in case I want my netflix or anything else.

hodad66 I've been using a Roku for a few years.... watching Netflix, Amazon & HBO Go. Love it!

Desert Rat Love my Roku. Running Plex Channel on Roku and Plex server on Linux box. Torrent to Plex server folder and voila, your own custom Netflix.

BTW: Chromecast has Plex on it now too.

Sheureka, do you get Vudu on your Roku? If so, please tell me how.

Pub-D-Hub is an awesome channel. Lots of great CLASSIC old movies, shows and even commercials.

sheureka I've had mine for several years too - and finally dumped DirecTV about 4 months ago. I haven't missed it at all! I do get streaming Netflix, Amazon, Vudu and Hulu. And it seems that every time I check there are new channels being added to the Roku. If you any of you are classical music or jazz fans, check out classicaltv. It's really excellent. - sheureka

mvaldes +1 for no TV and for Roku. Don't watch much, but it does have movies (free with my Amazon Prime membership) and a good variety of news stations 'tho not BBC. For the rare occasions I watch, it works out great.
Oh, and, at least if you have wireless internet, the setup couldn't be easier.
