Here is one that is UNDER $80 and available in US.
I have had this for a couple of years on my Florida smart (parked most of the year under a carport) and it has held up well (except for the one that got ripped in the hurricane).
Should fit 450 or 451 - contact the company.

smart Madness had one on sale. $89.00. More $$$, then what you found already. I don’t know how much your paying for shipping.

Got it! A tad more than I was was hoping to spend, but I concluded that my original objective wasn't realistic.
Thanks for your help, jwight!

Very deceptive, but that's the way it turns out.
Try this; a little more than your stated price but about the best you are going to do. I have one of their Stormforce covers for our 2011 and it works well.

|smart_mick||Sorry—I was in the middle of trying to edit my reply. Seems that the $44.95 price is just for adding piping—their cost for a plain cover to fit my car is $224, which is not in my budget.|

Any cover for a 2005 or 2006 will work as the bodies are identical...

Thank you! Confused—they say that don't have one for my actual car, but they have one that fits the diesel version of my model and year, so I'll have to talk to them. Please ignore attached image—can't see how to delete it.
Do you have experience with this brand of car cover?

Looking for a good, inexpensive 450 ForTwo cover
Can anyone recommend a good, INEXPENSIVE (as in, under ~$80) choice of car cover for my 2005 450 ForTwo Passion Cabriolet? I want to protect the cabrio top and $$new$$ plastic rear window from sun/environmental damage, and further aging. I'm in Los Angeles, so I'm not too worried too much about snow, freezing, or rain. I want to avoid anything that might be bad in a car cover, e.g., condensation forming under cover, scratchy material, so cheap that it doesn't fit or blows off in a breeze...
