ColonelPan1c Sorry for the delay, didn't see this until now. I don't check the Mass section much- I'm over in Warwick, RI. Let me know if you still need help.

Boston/Providence, can you help me look at a car?

I'm very close to purchasing a 2009 Smart, and I was hoping that a current Smart owner could help me look over a car that I'm interested in.

The car is for sale at a dealership in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, USA. This is about 30 minutes South of Boston, MA and 30 minutes North East of Providence, RI. So if you live in that area, you have owned a Smart for atleast a year or so, you atleast know what a spark plug is, and you have some free time as soon as possible, please help me out. This is by no means a substitute for having the car inspected by an independent mechanic, but I've never owned this car and I know an owner will be able to spot things that myself and even a mechanic wont notice. The car does have a reoccurence of showing up at auction, so thats why I'm taking extra precautions before I buy it, but I've looked over the car pretty well and test drove it and I didnt notice any significant issues.

I can give you some money for your time and gas and all I need from you is maybe 15-30 minutes to look over the car and drive it for a bit to see if you notice any issues.
