Thanks for such a great weekend. We had one the the best nights Thursday night in Indy where we began our caravan. It is so much fun getting to know other smart owners and see how they ended up with a smart. Friday The miles flew by and we were in Iowa before we knew it. We had a small electrical issue while underway and had to do some work on it at a truckstop. The Muffin saved the day finding some tools and we got to have the one and only jetfuel work on the car! We met some new people at the rally and got to see some people we have not seen since Denver. The area and hotel were great. The band did a fantastic job despite the rain. Hope everyone made it home safe and we will see you at the next rally.

Who knows, maybe I'll be back in that area someday soon.

Art, we are the ones who owe you and your helpers a big Thank You! Great rally in keeping with the other Midwest smart Rallys - carrying on the tradition. You set a pretty high bar for the rest of us which is a good thing. Always great to have a bunch of smart owners drive cross country pretty much just for the fun of it - which is the whole idea. Rumor is the rally next year may be a little father south in the Midwest....
PS - avoid the Subway in the Tanger outlet mall in Williamsburg at all costs!

Where Do I Start?
Thank you all for coming to Amana. This rally definitely exceeded my expectations. 56 smart rides. 99 smart lunatics.
I cannot express in words how much I enjoyed this rally. It was a pleasure making new friends and always a pleasure seeing old ones again.
The nicest friends, awesome smart cars, "campfires" in the parking lot, great food, live music. About as close to Heaven as I will get.
Mary, thanks for helping at the Meet 'n Greet. Should be Meet 'n Grin.
Larry, keep your hands out of the cookie jar.
Dawn, thanks for the lily pond shirts and Iowa stickers.
Tim and Janice, thanks for anchoring the cruise.
Tony, thanks for the shirts, keyrings, and the ED. Whoa, that didn't sound good.
Bruce, congratulations on the new ride.
Neon, call the fire department first, and say hi to the land yacht crew for me.
Barney, keep the greasy side down.
jwight, hope the sub doesn't keep you down. Or the other way around.
jetfuel, ahh, never mind. If you can't say something nice...
jefferios, we missed our resident weather man.
To my Canadian friends, keep your stick on the ice.
A smart rally should be on everyone's bucket list.
I hope you all had a safe trip home and I can't wait to see you all again.
