Sorry to hear about the a***holes in the DC area. I have never had any nasty notes from others, and if i did, i would toss them out asap. I have had motorists get crude with me on the road sometimes. You know the tailgaters, the soccer moms getting nasty, but don't recall getting run off the road. Did have a trucker nearly go in my lane until i blasted my horn at him ,and then he not only gave me one back, but proceeded to tailgate me. The most class act of all is when one of my coworkers asked how well my shocks were holding up only because i had a fat guy in the passenger seat. Talk about a tacky fat joke. Only had one idiot yell out "your car is a death trap" only i replied back to him" go blow it out your A***"
I just blow off all the crude feedback as simple jealousy. Sorry to hear you traded in the Smart for another car. It was a cool one at that.

Never had any real issues other than the usual gawkers and comedians that come out of my circle of friends. What problems are you dealing with.

Aloha, How's it? So how do you Love ur yellow Smartie? I've been very busy for the past year....work, work, work and family. No SCOA :( So I'm back and ready to take out my Smart for the nice spring sunny days. I saw a post about an April 10th, 2010 meet up @ Germantown Maryland Smart for a DC Cherry Blossom Drive. Are you & ur boyfriend down?

Hey got a question for you. Were you anywhere near the Fairfax Costco/Home Depot at about 1.15 today? I saw a car that looked like yours only it tunred the corner fast, but thought i saw a yellow rocker panel on that car. If it was you howdy. You going to the March meet? I plan on being there myself with info on my full moons.

it is a functional scoop (EVIL TWIN) i got it from a supplier here in the LA area (www.roccosautotech.com) too expensive for my taste ($100.00) but it looked better than the one from breathless. i also have a K&N Air filter on the car, however i am seriously looking into a COLD AIR INTAKE and the VELOCE remap. any ideas from you side ?

I have not been to Kingstowne in ages, but i do go to Fairfax sometimes. it is so true they are all over the place, and yet the usual questions come around. The pastor of my church saw my Mr. Blue and took it upon himself to sit in the drivers seat. he is 6 ft 4 and he fit like a glove. The upcoming meet should be really entertaining.

I was finishing my lunch on friday and was sitting in the parking lot unitl i saw a car that looked exaclty like yours and thought it was you unitl i caught up to the car, and saw otherwise. It was in Fairfax off on Prosperity drive, well i did see the person on Lee Highway. You ever see any other Smarts as you are driving yours? I even saw a passion convertible today with the exact color sceme as mine, buit it had a red interior and a lot of mods done to it.

I was in one of my woe is me, i gotta wait for my Smart when i read the email informing me of a pure avalable as an orphan, and with AC and radio, exactly the way i would have ordered it right to the blue color, although the sliver i was not wlid about at first, but now I am really liking it.
    gstreetcomic ·
I was checking out your specs, and im seeing the reservation dates and delvery dates of your car, and from what im seeing looks like you got an orphan am i right?
    gstreetcomic ·
You bet your bottom dollar i am. I never have felt so full of joy whenever i get behind the wheel of Mr. Blue ( That is the name of my pure) and i find that i am very gentle on the gas pedal whenever i go from stoplight to a good finish. The transmission does really feel like it is engaging gears, but it is not all as hateful as some of the other posters. I get a lot of good comments on the car from complete strangers, and even some poking from my friends. For example, i went to a food and game night with the singles in my church one of them saw Mr Blue outside the window and oh boy the party stopped short and everybody wanted to see him. Of course one of my friends made a little joke about needing a key to wind it up and let it go, another called it a clown car, and then another refrred to it as a a go-kart. I found myself lauhging with them instead of taking offense to it. You know there are always these kinds and of course one of them asked about the safety factor. Of course im send some links to them just to put them at ease.
