    That's a shame... It would be nice to have the ability to pull up some of the original paperwork; particularly when you buy a used vehicle.

    The fob in question might just have a small break in the "wiring" (or whatever it is in there; that makes the magic happen...) Tiny enough to cause an intermittent loss of function, and be even tougher to find Throw it away, and get yourself a replacement.

    Glad that you found the key to the :secret handshake". :D Since yours is a soft-top: it must be different than mine. Here's the path that I would take: unlock the driver's door with the key (hopefully this unlocks the liftgate...) Manually raise the liftgate, and then manually lower the tailgate...

    I was going to ask the same question. I've always preferred manual control over the lighting of my cars; so that switch is always left "Off": until I'm ready to light things up! (y)

    Patch the airbox with some serious epoxy (to make sure that it's not leaking...), and see if that cures the issue. (I bet that it will!) Simply put: you're running lean...
