Purchased used with 96,000 miles on her. She still has life left. Kept getting maintenance warning but resets were unsuccessful. Took it to the dealer and they say the complete clutch needs replaced along with a new actuator. $4000 price tag. That was more than I paid for the car. I have gathered all the parts-new clutch $325 and new actuator $375 and will perform the work myself. Also found I have a broken spring on the front passenger side so I will replace both sides. She should be good as new soon. Got both front springs and shocks replaced. Just finished up the new clutch today. Added a cold air intake, Stainless Steel, BoeschBuilt. Also scored a slightly used Breathless Performance exhaust. While I am at it I will install a trailer hitch as well. Took it back to the dealer with the new clutch. Still having the same symptoms. They spent several hours diagnosing and came back with a bad transmission as the culprit now. Not sure I believe this to be true. Still trying to sort this out.
2009 Smart Passion (Metallic Blue)
Stock engine-nothing fancy. Still runs well at 96,000 miles. Cold air intake, Stainless Steel, BoeschBuilt. Also installed a Breathless Performance exhaust older stlye-picked up used. Sounds pretty good to me.
Beige interior, tach and clock pod.
Replaced damaged hood, drivers side fender, drivers side rear quarter and lower rear bumper valance. Looking much better now.
Stock radio which is good enough for me. I use my android phone for navigation. Stock stero sounds good enough for me.
Stock-nothing special here. Had to put new front springs in as the passenger side had snapped off one coil at the top making the car lopsided. Replaced both sides.
