Modifications

Drivetrain
Mockup right now. To be 2332 VW Type One. My own 911 shroud and fan set up. 48's and header built by me. Will have all the good stuff inside. Have been building VW's for 35 years. Used a late bus bell housing and made an adapter to go to T5 5 speed. Quick change rear end, Halibrand V8 model.
Interior
Under construction. All sheet metal work by me. Fiberglass seats found laying on side of road. Porsche 914 gauge suspended. Cowl steering by me. Sideways brake pedal by me. Clutch and linkage also.
Exterior
Phaeton cut in half to make a Track T style hot rod. Everything done in my garage. Custom built 1 1/2" tube frame I bent up and welded. Built my own chassis table. Track nose from speedway motors. Made my own windshield and stanchions. Everything else is fabbed.
Audio
Wind in your face. Sounds by Weber 48 IDA's and exhaust.
Suspension
48 Ford front and rear axles. Quarter elliptic springs in front and high arch Ford rear spring. Split wishbones. Still building panhard bar for front.
Wheel and Tire
TSW wheels. 17" X 9" in back, narrowed to 5". 750 x 17 Goodyears. Fronts are 18" x 8" narrowed to 3.5" and 450 x 18 ribbed in front.
