read a 451 ecu

how do i read from my 08 smart fortwo 451 ecu hi. question is there anyone here who has the ecu pin out for a 2008 smart fortwo cabrio 451 i believe. i looked everywhere and cant find it also i am not sure what wire i need to ground out and if there is a time limit to how long u should have it...
