15 electric drive - P always illuminated

Good evening folks. I either only noticed now or this is a problem that just started. I have a 15 electric drive and while walking past the car I heard it make a ticking sound, almost like it was on. But of course it was off and locked.

I looked into the interior and saw the P on the shifter was illuminated. I grabbed the keys turned the car on and off. Turned the lights off manually. Locked the car and waited. Exterior lights shut off, interior lights off, dash and gauges pods all shut off. The P at the shifter... Still on.

What's going on? Unless I never noticed this before.

Edit: .....and now it shut off. Weird.
