I bought this about a month ago as a winter project. It needed a new convertible top, sliders, and front latches, and the original blue paint was a bit tired. I replaced the top & all the hardware with OEM parts, and removed and painted all the plastic body panels with Satin Black Plasti-dip paint. I think the new color looks great, but if you disagree it would be simple and inexpensive to re-paint in the color of your choice using a conventional 1 or 2-stage paint. In fact, if anyone wants a color change, I will repaint it (plastic panels only) in the color of your choice for an additional $500 plus actual materials cost (about +$250 for single stage, +$450 for 2-stage paint).
I'm new to Smart cars but have owned and restored many different Mercedes from the 80s, 90s, and 00s -- you can see records of some of my previous sales on Bringatrailer.com and Carandbids.com (search user name Cornell89).
Asking $6300 or best reasonable offer.
