We are selling our dear little 451, Liam, who has 72,000 miles. He's Energy Green Metallic Matte with a silver Tridion cage. New starter, alternator, and belt tensioner this month. New Pioneer touchscreen stereo with full Bluetooth/CarPlay/Android Auto capability (and rear-view camera, which one arguably doesn't need on a smart) installed in 2018 along with new door speakers.

Runs fine most of the time, but frequently throws a code for cylinder 2 misfire and occasionally goes to limp-in mode (which to date has always been rectified by an engine restart). Our pitiful local(ish--Ann Arbor MI) Mercedes-Benz dealer diagnosed it as "loose gas cap" after keeping the car for a week. They reset the engine light and it came on again leaving the parking lot.

The horn and cruise control are currently out (maybe related?). Besides that everything works. A/C blows ice cold. Comes with two sets of tires, all with loads of tread life left: Kumho Solus KH16 MO all-seasons and Continental ContiWinterContact TS800 winter tires. The latter are still mounted to the Brabus wheels b/c we have been locked down since winter. One Brabus wheel is pot-hole dented too, but has never leaked air.

Car was bought new on the East coast, sold to someone else out there, then bought by a Chicago dealer at auction, from whom we bought it in 2017 and brought it back to greater Detroit. Would love to sell it to a forum member.

Kelly Blue Book puts the value of this car in "Fair Condition" at $2,488-$4,563. We'd sell it to a forum member for $1,800 or best offer. Will send more pics upon request.

Hi and thank you for posting. My mom needs a new(er) car to get back and forth to the local store and pharmacy and we thought of (ours or another) Smart. We still have (and love) our 450, Kabrio but it is in storage here in VA and the SAM needs attention. My mom is in Indiana near the Michigan border, and (at least while we still lived in IN) the dealer in Indianapolis was quite good. Is your 451 still available? Please let us know, we really would be interested if it is. Feel free to email us @[email protected] dot com thank you! John & Kay
