Has anyone explored the long slot next to the latch on the glovebox? There is a friction brush inside the slot which makes it useable as a toll ticket, note, cash or card holding slot! I’m not sure what the intended purpose of this is but would love to know!

I replace my 2008 one, with the newer one. Like the satin silver finish it match the radio 10 surround trim. We used once to hold a toll road ticket.

That slot is there to do exactly what you think - hold anything that slips into it.

I did not know we could swap out for the new door. Was it easy to buy and install? where di you buy it??
