Hi all. A couple of days ago I started hearing a loud clicking noise when I turn on the a/c. Pretty sure it is the actuator. Quick call to my mechanic and that is what he suspects, too. I am taking it to him this weekend, but he doesn't have alot of experience with the Smart Fortwo, although I trust him. I am just curious if anyone knows the best approach to get to the actuator in the Fortwo? Must the dash be removed or can it be accessed from the front of the car? I saw one video where a guy removed the steering column. I wonder if I can get a repair manual diagram of that area, showing exactly where it is located. Thanks in advance!
