I saw a few posts from years ago about replacing the rear quarter panels, but they indicate the 2011-2014 models. My 2015 ED got struck in a parking lot hit and run. I'm not sure if it's worth replacing the quarter panel or not, but wanted to see if any could advise how hard a job it is for a reasonably capable do it yourselfer. The attached pics are from when it happened. A lot of the white marks wiped right off. I'll try to grab recent pics when I head out later. Any advice appreciated.

Replacing the rear quarter panel on the ED is the same as replacing the quarter panel on any other 451 save for the minor difference of the charging receptacle in place of a gasoline filler.

You should search about removal of the Smart body panels on a search engine on the internet. Unfortunately, this forum is a bit short on practical repair information.

I recommend applying some curiously to find the clip and fastener locations for the real quarter panel. Should you break something on the panel, it is not a problem, since you are replacing it anyway...
