Hey All:

Ok, I have searched this exhaustively, I have watched videos, I have tried everything I can to no avail. Nothing seems to work and none of the instructions/videos match what is displayed on my screen (everything I search seems to be the gas version of the car).

How do I reset the 'Maintenance Service Required' message on my 2015 Smart fourtwo ED vehicle? Mine is due in 5 days (I also have a friend that is overdue by 130-something days). I might need instructions like you are instructing a 4 year old and not like you are speaking with a doctor. I swear, heart surgery is less complicated!! Ugh...

I just reset mine in my 2016 "gasser"
When you get to that screen: just hold in the "OK" button until it stops blinking, and resets itself...
Is it the same process for yours?

Page 3 of the above thread should be most helpful. I've set mine several times and sometimes it works the first time. Sometimes it takes days and/or multiple tries. It works, just be patient.

Thank you for posting this video. I can attest that it works equally well on the 2015 Smart Fortwo Electric Drive as well.
