2016 Gas 9000 miles engine oil leak. The leak is right where the engine and transmission are bolted together. Has anyone ever had this problem? Engine main seal leak ?

Also, on SLOW acceleration the transmission feels like its chattering and not quite engaging the clutch all the way so the car shakes and shudders forward in higher gears. This NEVER happens on hard acceleration. Engine is running fine.

I m thinking if the main seal is leaking, oil has gotten on the clutch and is causing a problem.

No other leaks anywhere. Oil filter not leaking.

Thoughts?

Sounds like oil is getting on your clutch pack , that would cause that shudder . I would suspect , yes a seal is compromised , sounds like a close inspection is on order , possible between the trans and engine . Ouch .

UPDATE! I got the transmission off. The main seal was leaking bad. Main seal was $65. The plan is to replace that main seal and put everything back together.

It took about three hours to get the transmission off, you have to take off the driveshafts and the suspension support arms and a lot of other things off to get all the bolts that hold the Transmission on . This is a picture of the transmission with the dual clutch.
