Believe I need to replace sending unit because gauge will not come off the full mark, how hard is this going to be and where do I start?

Yes it is, made appointment to have it fixed. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, was about ready to tear into it, you saved me.

Ron, it is complicated. Drop the belly pan, then the gas tank, remove and replace the fuel pump cannister including the gauge sender. I am glad you are still under warranty.

My dealer replaced my tank re the gauge issue under warranty, said the sender is integrated into the tank and not a serviceable part.
