Again, just took delivery few days ago, car spent more time in dealership getting sensor repaired so don't have much time testing this yet.

When the car is charging and we were setting the heat on manually (not using pre entry climate control), it was only blowing cold air. Tried all the settings possible and all the same. Once unplugged, heat came right back.

Definitely different behavior than the 2013 we previously leased as we were able to just turn on the heat or ac normally even when we're plugged in.


Couldn't find any info on this, anyone else noticed the same behavior?

Going to do more testing and report back.

Confirmed the pre-entry climate control still works fine. So just need to set that to depart 10 minutes later. Less convenient than before but better than no heat.

Took it back to the dealership, they acknowledge the behavior but said that is normal behavior on the new 453 ED models.

Can any owner of the 453 ED please help confirm this?
