450/451 engine drop down service bolts

Does anyone have any idea how much these bolts normally sell for New or how much they are worth? All I know is that they are VERY handy to have when doing engine work besides routine maintenance. Could four threaded rods be used instead or should I just pay up?

Why not order them from Amazon UK and save $100?

Edit I buy from Amazon UK and Japan all the time without issue

A couple of years ago I asked in a MB dealership, they had nothing in stock and there was only one set in stock in Germany for special order, it was about $120 for the set I believe. I tried to buy a threaded rod and cut it to size to no avail, no industrial bolt supplier in S. Florida had the same diameter and thread. I did not get it at the end. Some people remove the longer bolts and put then in the place of teh shorter ones to gain a few inches without misaligning the engine from the body.

You have to remove one of the existing engine, mounting bolts.
So they can match the tread course, and bolt strength.

Any bolt, and nut supplier. Most likely could match the type of bolt
too.

Thanks for the find. I just ordered off your link. It looks like Amazon USA is getting directly from the UK.

Ditto. Seems Amazon US is shipping them over from Amazon EU, and no shipping costs if you are a Prime member.

Nope! I did too! BUT the same seller sold me two complete perfect roof rails for my 2012 451 Cabriolet for $200 each! They are SO HTF they may as well be made of the infamous "UNOBTAINIUM"!

Try as I may I could NOT find them on Amazon UK UNTIL you gave me the link then WHAM! I was there and could go home too. Last time I tried I darn near needed a passport to get back to Amazon US! Quite a fiasco if you aren't familiar how to navigate crossing the pond! Thank you for the link......VERY helpful! 👍

They should come with the car and be added to the sticker price. They're probably the most useful and valuable item you can have for your Smart. Why won't they work on a 453?
