cruise stalk

what all is needed to install the cruise control to my 2006 diesel Smart Car Pulse Coupe???also my Smart has A rear window wiper.. was told it makes a difference in the required cruise stalk??

The TAN code for cruise control must be activated by a STAR machine or equivalent. Cruise control stalk installation information can be found on FQ101.

where can I get a STAR machine or equivalent? do I have to go to the dreaded dealership? They give me a hard time because it's an 2006, they like working on the new stuff. I told them I would buy a new one if it was a DIESEL....

M-B won't do it. You can buy cloned or real STAR machines.

Found the connectors. When checking to make sure they were the right ones I took out the right headlight and noted one of the bulb covers were missing and the upper reflector mount was broken (inside) apparently during shipment from Europe. It is repairable (I took off the lenses to see it, they snap on and off) so a discount is in order. Make me an offer.

For both headlights even The basil how long really wanna do is just put it right in my car and use it like it was there before but the offer I can do it I don’t know I mean I can do 120 if that’s all right with you
