I was checking out a few pics of the interior of the 453s and stumbled across a pic of a 453 auto shifter with the knob removed. It looked exactly like a 451 stalk. I went to a dealer to check it out in person regarding the measurements and they look about the same. My question is could you fit a 453 knob like the Carlsson automatic featured on Smart Madness? Any opinions?

Yep!!! The stalk has a longer stem in the 453, but otherwise it's 100% the same!!! The parts are a direct swap from a 451. My 453 is already wearing the custom knob from my 451.
