Hi!
I have to replace the soft top of my 2009 Smart Fortwo cabrio.
I found a smart for parts and I would like to take its soft top.

I found this video where it shows how to remove the first part:

This was helpful but I can't find a video or any instructions online about how to remove the second part with the glass.

Does anyone know how to do it or could show me a like to any instructions about it?

Thanks!

Hi 🤗 I am having the same problem you had and I was just wanting to see if you had found any more information? ( The fabric shrank and started coming apart from the frame in the front, now it has duck tape holding it down 🥺 )
I am trying to find a repair-manual to fix this. And that is just as hard. I can't get any body to do it. The two Mercedes-Benz dealerships near me or any Mercedes-Benz dealership in the state of Georgia will not do it. A few upholstery shops said they've done one and won't do anymore. I don't understand why it is so difficult to get it done 🤔🤨😕😶😢...
I hope you did find more info. And I hope someone can help me. 🙂

You need to remove the whole thing intact. Do not separate the two parts. There’s actually one in the pickapart in sta Fe springs. You need a torque bend to take it out. Just 4 bolts.
