I just got delivered my baby cabriolet. 😍
It's 2018 with decent mileage on 17k 1 owner and still have warranty. Not cheap but happy.
After enjoy modifying most of my cars, this will not be excluded, so at least I want to start with the wheels and tires.

I read many comments about this topic, but still need some suggestions. I'm considering 17x7 4x100 ET43 or 42 and tires 205/40/17 🤔
The other option are 16x6.5 not sure the offset.

So up front they are 16x6 ET44.
I would give the inside more clearance in a 17x7, like ET30.

The widest Brabus did up front was a 18x7 ET 27, and that was with a ~10mm wider body kit on the front wheels.
(In Europe, the tires cannot extend past the fenders, so that's really why...)

Also, people with 453s have had problems when going '4 square' with the TCS.
Consider keeping the factory 20mm width induced understeer - that would be 225/35/17 Rears with the 205/40/17 Front tires.

Lorinser 17” for the smart 453 wheels work , but yes on the TCS issue .. I’ve found that the larger tires and wheels needed to be aired down to calm the TCS kicking in (sometimes at scary moments ). No fender rub or tires sticking out

So that means staggered is the way to go.

Not sure I they are 17 or 18 but look what I found.

I don't mind if staggered or not, but I want to order a good size. ET38 is more available than anything less. ET30 are like 2 styles. I'm on this for 3 days already. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Hunting for a brand new charger. Would like to get a USA dual current (110 and 240) voltage ⚡.
Mine came defective and the dealer would pay up to $500 for my new charger.
So I want to get a nice and reliable one.
