I just got done replacing my battery in our 453, and noticed a potential missing part while putting things back together. If you look at the side corners of the hood bay, near where the hood connects to the channels close to the windshield, there is a grey styrofoam molded block that appears to be a spacer for the hood itself to rest against. One on each side. I only have the left side piece and appear to be missing the right side. The hood seems to be on fine without it, but I?d like to find it online to order, and the parts breakdowns that I?ve seen on various MB parts online websites don?t make it easy to identify. Any help would be appreciated, and even more appreciation is given for anyone that takes the time to pop their hood open to seer the part that?s in question

It?s directly at either end of the long rubber seal that spans the width of the hood about 2/3 of the way back

After closer inspection, I?ve identified a part number on the right side foam block. A4538300201

If someone could find out if their left side has a part number on it, that would be very helpful

Hey, were you able to find the part number for left side? I just found out I am missing that piece under my 453's hood :shrug:

How about A4538300301? But it is so pricey!
