Hi All,

I am hoping someone out there can help me. I have a 2017 453 that did not come with paddle shifters. I ordered the steering wheel from Germany and installed it and tried to code this with DT4ALL with no luck. I am also not having luck with any of the dealers in the area.
If anyone out there as any experience with this and could offer any tips I would really appreciate it. I am also willing to compensate any individuals who may be willing to help. Please P.M. me.

Were those dealers authorized smart dealers that still service them? If not, no Mercedes dealer is authorized or will service your car. As with other such accessories that did not originally come with the car, the computer must be encoded to recognize the accessory. As far as I know this must be done by a Mercedes Star machine.
