first started withe the ratlle noise on driver mirror, then bad suspension on pothole drivin.Took car to dealer,in S miami.
Dealer keep car for 8 days replace the front sturt stopper,and many one time use bolts and nuts and the rear gas tank,now it drives like the 453 loaner they give me,they have a service bulletin about this issue with the stopper and a new part but dealer refuse to replace the rigth side since is not broken.
Dealer refuse to change the seat bealts they dont retract like new and the metal bucle got cauth in the door frame scraching the paint,
Car has 13k miles ,and I never had a car with this issue,
Also dealer disconnect the battery and the radio refuse to work had to recile the on off with the key on the ignition,now works.

Woah, tell me more about that strut stopper! Is that why my 453's front end makes a clunk on every bump?

yes they change 453321-11-00 buffer stop,453-990-05-11 bolt,453-990-03-01 bolt w/flange,453-990-05-50 hexagon nut,453-990-06-50 hexgagon w flange nut plus other nuts,plus wheel alignament ,plus toe alignament,all in guarrante,I ask how much is this job without it, they told me 1000 dollars.

my 2008 smart seat belts don't retract all the time and gets caught in the door too, it only scratches the manufacturer sticker. after 9+ years, there's no rust on the tridion cell. it's a design flaw, it also catches and when you try to put it on, it stops, and you fight buckling up for 10 seconds. I drive for UBER so I'm getting in and out of my smart 30 times a day, for 9 years it has been happening, now it happens every day with my accelerated frequency of use. just make sure the buckle isn't in the doorway before you close the door, MB will never fix that.

the year before I got my smart, I had an '86 Mercedes Benz C230, my first and only used car in 35 years, bought it for my dear, departed wife (thank god and aeroflot she's gone!) I drove that for a year waiting for my smart, never had a problem with it, outside of it's drinking issue, 23 MPG. LOL

Maybe it is time to replace the guide loops on the seat back with some 2010 model ones. According to Evilution, they pop right in and work much better at allowing the belt to retract.
