Hi All, I have a 2017 Smart for Two, Gas, 453, turbo that has 225/75R16 tires. Doesn't this mean that my rims are 16 inch? I notice a lot of 453 owners here mentioning 15 inch rims. Thanks

I6" wheels came in some option packages on the 453. The standard wheels are 15". 225/75-16 seems like a very large size for a 453. Are you sure that is correct?
That size came directly off the tire; original tires I believe. It also says on the tire "do not put on a 16.1" rim". I want to purchase another rim so I can have a spare tire but I want to make sure I get the correct size.

Correction, it says on the tire "Do not mount on 16.5 inch rim".

The 'R16' says it has 16" rims.
The stock 16" tires that come on a 453 are 185/50/R16 Front and 205/45/R16 Rear.
The overall diameter is 23.2".

There is no way a 225/75/R16 tire will fit on a 453 - it is 29.3" in diameter...
