Had to run all new wire from inside the door, then through the firewall to the rear of the car. Folled this guide to do it.

smartcarofamerica.com/forums/f369/diy-installing-component-speakers-door-alternate-17294/#/topics/17294?page=1

Wired in a 1000w peak jbl club 704 amp and velcroed behind the seat

Cut a 6x9 sized hole in each door ( no turni g back now)
Mounted Infinitty Kappa 6x9's in the the door.
Mounted Infinity Reference 6.5 components in the stock locations with tweater mounted higher by the morror
Pulled the passenger seat so i could run wires under the carpeting.

I aleady had wire a kenwood powered sub under the passenger seat... but after running a clean 100w to each speeker I can honestly say the door woofers hit harder and lower than yhe sub does... I may eventualy swap it out for a conventional mono block amp and put a stealthbox under the dash.

Really interesting. I have been considering adding the 6-3/4” version of these 8” Fosgate pps mid ranges to that location. Good to know it fits.
