It has been couple times that the triangle will stay on for no reason after a start, then if I turn the car off and back on it will be fine again. I just started my car triangle is on and ABS light flashing when the car is in park and hand brake on. After 2 restart both lights are gone. Gonna start to replacing parts before my mechanic start to charging me hundreds of bucks for diagnosis of the problem. Anyone have any idea what's the cause of the issue? Thanks!

Before throwing parts at it, I would start with a code scan , make sure reader can check for ABS codes, and go from there. I would guess at reluctor rings or sensors as we have seen those get dirty or the rings crack.

Have you scanned for OBD codes? <img src="http://smartcarofamerica.com/forums/images/SmartCarOfAmerica/smilies/tango_face_smile.png" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

I used my OTC oncore to scanned, no stored and no current code. Which is weird. So that's why I'm deciding to throw some parts. My Scan tools is probably better and newer than the one my mechanic got so I think I'm pretty sure there is no code. Also are those ring replacement reasonable cost thou, if they are I'm getting those done like this week. Thanks.

Check the brake switch. Mine did the same thing. The brake light switch was hanging up. I pulled it out and noticed that the brake pedal shoved it all the way back in causing it to hang again. I used a drimel and trimmed the tip off and rounded up the edge of the switch. Put a fingertip of lithium grease on it and no more issue. It will also eventually lock your shifter if not taken care of.
