Today, I had some vinyl accents added to my 2014 Black on Black Electric Drive. Here are links to some pictures: FrontSideBack

Material: 3M 1080 Vinyl Wrap, Matte Apple Green

Wrapped by: ProntoWrapz, Mountain View, CA

I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I found the wrapping firm to be affordable, diligent with the work, and pleasant to deal with. (I am not getting any benefit from them for saying this.)

Looks great and well thought out. Let us know how it holds up as that may be a less expensive alternative to paint.
Will do.

The wrapper warned me that he expects the door handle wrap and possibly the mirror cover wrap to not last that long because the adhesive doesn't bind to the plastic substrate (polypropylene?) that well even when using an adhesion promoter.

It is a fun experiment. Let's see how it goes. Thanks for the compliments.

Agreed, well thought out is a good description. Some go overboard, but these all add nice accents. I especially like that little bit on the side rocker panels - that took some imagination, and it's cool.

Following lines with pinstripe is one thing, accenting lines and parts not ordinarily featured is way cooler.
